Media Central, the media sales house, has been bought by radio station group Bauer Media.
The advertising sales agency already acts on behalf of a range of Bauer's main audio brands, including Newstalk, Today FM, 98FM, SPIN, RedFM and Off the Ball.

Managing Director of Media Central, Gavin Deans, will continue to lead the organisation, which will also continue to represent its existing clients.

Last month Bauer Media revealed that it had bought iRadio, the youth music station in the North East, Midlands and North West.
In March it completed the acquisition of Cork’s Red FM.
