Dublin Airport has opened six new food and drink outlets in Terminal 2, as part of a new street-food style area called 'The Mezz'.
Located upstairs in the airside departures area of T2, 'The Mezz' is part of the airport's 15-point improvement plan which aims to raise standards for passengers in both terminals.
The new outlets include Camile Thai, Handsome Burger, Badger & Dodo coffee, Erin's Kitchen and Ancho Hancho, and the Mezz Bar.
"The opening of these six new fantastic offerings come at a good time as we enter second half of the peak summer period, with around 2 million passengers set to depart from Dublin Airport over the next weeks," said Ronan Fitzsimons, General Manager Commercial, at Dublin Airport.
"From listening to customer feedback, we know passengers want variety at a range of price options and that's exactly what these new offerings in The Mezz provide," he added.
In addition to the new food and beverage outlets, Dublin Airport's improvement plan includes the rollout of additional seating for passengers at departure gates, a doubling of average free WiFi speeds throughout the airport and improvements at security to ensure at least 90% of passengers get through in under 20 minutes this summer.
