UK-based Moore Kingston Smith invests in Moore Ireland

Irish accounting firm Moore has announced that London based Moore Kingston Smith, funded by European private equity firm, Waterland, is investing in its business.

It said the partnership will provide funding for a growth and expansion programme in Ireland.

It will allow for investments in strategic acquisitions in the Irish marketplace, as well as in infrastructure and people.

"This is a transformational development for Moore in Ireland," said Managing Partner Ned Murphy.

"Our partnership with Moore Kingston Smith will provide us with the funds we need to make investments in strategic acquisitions in the Irish marketplace, as well as in infrastructure and people", Mr Murphy added.

Founded in 1970 in Cork, Moore Ireland now employs 135 people across its Cork and Dublin offices.

It provides accountancy and advisory services to clients across a range of business sectors in Ireland.

Moore is part of the Moore Global network of accountants and advisory services, which employs over 30,000 people across 114 countries..

Moore Kingston Smith is the main London firm of the Moore UK network.
