The National Treasury Management Agency said it will hold just one bond auction in the third quarter of this year.
The NTMA said the bond auction will be held on Thursday September 14 - subject to market conditions.
So far this year, the NTMA has issued €6 billion of benchmark bonds.
It has said it aims to raise between €7 billion and €11 billion this year on the back of a relatively low level of maturing debt and a large projected budget surplus.
