HMV has today opened its first new Irish store in over a decade as the retailer returns to Ireland under new ownership.
The new shop in Henry Street in Dublin city centre also marks the opening of HMV's first flagship outside of the UK and will create 25 new jobs.
The new Dublin shop is split over three floors and will offer over 15,000 different products, including vinyl albums, CDs and a wide range of music technology as well as pop culture products.
Phil Halliday, HMV Managing Director of UK and Ireland, said that HMV has a rich history in Dublin.
"We cannot wait to open our doors and welcome fans back. Our customers will notice our dedication to becoming the best music destination in town but will also find we've expanded our offering to a host of must-have ranges they won't find anywhere else under one roof," he added.
