Ór-Real Irish Butter has signed a new deal with Tesco, which will see the product stocked in 123 stores across the country for the first time.
The agreement with Tesco means that it is now stocked in more than 350 stores in Ireland.
Ór-Real Irish Butter is made in Kanturk Co Cork by North Cork Creameries.
North Cork Creameries has been making butter for almost 100 years and employs 120 local people directly.
"We launched Ór-Real Irish Butter in October 2021, using almost a century of experience in turning the best local milk into the highest quality butter," said Pat Sheahan, CEO of North Cork Creameries.
"It has proved to be a huge hit with customers and we’re delighted to work with Tesco and see Ór-Real Irish Butter stocked in all of their stores nationwide," he added.
Aisling Pearce, Senior Buying Manager Chilled & Frozen with Tesco Ireland said the supermarket is proud to support Irish producers.
"Tesco works with over 500 Irish food and drink suppliers, which, in turn, support almost 13,000 farming families nationwide," she said.
