Excel Recruitment has launched a recruitment drive to hire over 1,700 people to work at events taking place this summer.
It said around 700 job seekers attended its open day last week.
Both permanent and contract positions are available in over 1,100 roles in Dublin, more than 250 in Cork, and 400 across events taking place between Kildare and Galway.
The events include the Trinity Summer Series – which features headline acts such as Texas and Madness, the Royal Hospital Kilmainham concerts – which will see Noel Gallagher and Tiesto take to the stage, the Biggest Disco festival in Punchestown, the Fairview Park concerts, the Taste of Dublin festival and Pride, amongst others.
Shane McLave, Director of Excel Recruitment said this year's recruitment drive is going to be one of their biggest to date.
"Ireland is back with a bang in terms of arts and music events lined up over the summer months," he said.
"While the hospitality sector has been facing challenges when it comes to staffing, we are confident that we will be able to supply the industry with up to a thousand staff per day, if the demand is required, particularly within the greater Dublin area," he added.
Mr McLave said applicants must be over the age of 18.
"We need large volumes of bar staff, but also kitchen staff, event stewards, cleaners, security, and facilities personnel," he said.
"The nature of the work means that the hours can be flexible, and short and long contracts are on offer - a setup which is often very attractive to Ireland’s student population.
"That said, it’s not only students who can secure some work for the summer – we are recruiting people with all levels of experience," he added.
