Co Meath based MTM Engineering has announced a deal to buy CET Connect, a provider of structured cabling and fibre optic services.
Established in 1999, and employing more than 100 people, CET has offices in Ireland - in Clonmel and Dublin - as well as the UK, France, Germany, and Sweden.
With a main focus on structured cabling, IT Network Infrastructure and fibre Optic Service, CET supports a client base in a variety of IT infrastructure projects across diverse sectors including data centres, pharmaceutical, healthcare and commercial.
Founded in 1997, MTM Engineering is a specialist electrical turnkey cable installation and termination company.
Headquartered in Grangegeeth in Slane, Co Meath, it currently employs over 550 people and has completed large scale industrial and renewable projects in Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Austria and UK.
Today's acquisition brings the team to over 650 people directly employed by MTM Group.
