Emerald Airlines, which operates the Aer Lingus Regional service, has announced a new route from Cork Airport to Bristol in the UK.
The airline also said today it would start a new service linking Belfast City with the Isle of Man.
The new Cork-Bristol route will start on April 28 and will operate daily six times a week.
The new Belfast-Isle of Man route will start on April 24. It will operate five times a week, increasing to six weekly flights for the peak Summer months.
Ciarán Smith, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines, said today's announcement is a much-anticipated one and will no doubt be warmly welcomed by passengers travelling for both business and travel pleasure purposes.
"We are delighted to be providing increased connectivity from Cork, while also bolstering our Belfast schedule," Mr Smith said.
"With more flights and more choice for the travelling public, we are progressively bolstering our 2023 schedule, with over 2.5 million seats on sale across 28 routes and 17 destinations in Ireland, UK, and Channel Islands," he added.
