Dublin-based aviation leasing company Avolon has completed the delivery of five new Airbus A321neos to Turkish Airlines.
Avolon said it now has a total of eight aircraft on lease with Turkish Airlines.
Paul Geaney, President and Chief Commercial Officer at Avolon, said the company was delighted to have worked with Turkish Airlines on the deal, which he said further strengthens the bond between the two companies.
"We are proud to support them as they continue the expansion of their network to service the strong recovery, they are experiencing in passenger demand," he added.
At the end of October 2022, Avolon said it owned and managed a fleet of 568 aircraft, with total orders and commitments for 265 fuel-efficient, new technology aircraft.
Its average fleet age is 6.4 years with an average remaining lease term of 6.8 years, it added.
