New figures from the Central Statistics Office show that wholesale electricity prices fell by 30.1% in November of this year compared to the same time last year.
However, on a monthly basis wholesale electricity prices increased by 5.2% in November from October.
The CSO said that domestic producer prices for manufactured goods were on average 9.9% higher in November compared with a year earlier, while producer prices for exported goods increased by 3.6%.
Today's figures show that producer prices for food products rose by 7.1% in the 12 months to November.
Producer prices for dairy products jumped by 46%, while prices for fruit and vegetables were up 16.1%, grain milling, starches and animal feeds prices rose by 14.3% while prices for fish and fish products increased by 13.9%.
The CSO also noted that wholesale prices for construction products increased by 0.6% in the month and rose by 16.2% since November 2021.
