Bank of Ireland to invest €11.5m in branch network in 2023

Bank of Ireland said today it plans to invest €11.5m across its nationwide branch network next year.

The bank said its investment plans include refurbishments and enhancements to its branch network, upgrading of branch services including ATMs in a number of locations as well as ongoing maintenance works.

The €11.5m investment will include comprehensive refurbishments for 18 branches.

It also plans to install new external and internal ATMs in a range of branches and improve facilities for staff in more than 12 branches.

Bank of Ireland has 169 branches across the country.

It said today it plans to install energy efficient LED lighting in each of its 169 branches next year, which will achieve over 50% in energy savings from a reduction in lighting energy consumption.

Bank of Ireland recently announced plans for the largest single investment in its College Green buildings in Dublin city centre for more than 200 years.

As well as extensive repairs, upgrading and restoration work, the planned €36m investment over five years includes improved facilities for customers and workspaces for staff.
