Retailer Tessuti is to open a flagship store in Jervis Shopping Centre in Dublin city centre next year.

The company plans to open a 21,500 square foot space formerly occupied by Topshop.

Tessuti sells high-end clothing, footwear and accessories across menswear, womenswear and childrenswear.

Its collection of designer brands includes Polo Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Billionaire Boys Club, Mallet, Moose Knuckles, and Versace Jeans Couture.

Established in 1985, Tessuti now has a total of 35 stores including stores in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, and Leeds.

The Jervis shopping centre, built in 1996, has over 80 retail and food and drink offerings.

James Air, head of group acquisitions at Tessuti, said the company was thrilled to be bringing Tessuti to the heart of Dublin's shopping district in such a large and prominent store.

"The latest Tessuti store concept is unparalleled and has been extremely well received in our other new stores. We are aiming to go bigger and better in Dublin," he added.

Darragh Cronin of Savills, who represented the landlord, said the city centre retail scene is thriving after the Covid closures and the new store will be an excellent new destination for the area.

"With the arrival of JD to the centre several years prior the core trading pattern of Henry Street/Mary Street shifted. Tessuti will now add to the nucleus of fashion retailing adjacent to JD, Penney's, Pull and Bear, New Look, Stradivarius, Arnott's and Zara," he added.
