Aircraft leasing giant AerCap signed 184 new lease agreements between July and September, the company has revealed.
This includes 30 widebody and 104 narrowbody aircraft, 3 regional jets, 23 engines and 24 helicopters.
In an update the firm also said it had completed 34 purchases, including 15 aircraft, 16 engines and three helicopters.
The Dublin headquartered company also made 37 sales during the quarter, including 21 aircraft, 13 engines and 3 helicopters.
In total its financing transactions totalled $1.4bn during the period.
Meanwhile, competitor Avolon said it executed 54 new leases over the same period.
This included a deal with Malaysia Airlines for the financing of 20 A330-900neo aircraft valued at over $2 billion.
The Dublin based firm also sold 13 aircraft during the three months, with letters of intent signed in relation to 7 more.
By the end of September it had 149 airline customers operating in 63 countries and owned and managed a fleet of 568 aircraft.
It also has total orders and commitments for 265 fuel-efficient new technology aircraft.
