Web-based software company Channel Mechanics has announced it will create 50 jobs over the next year as it continues its expansion to meet growing demand.
The company made the announcement as it officially opened its new global headquarters in Galway today.
The new positions will be spread across software development, QA, sales, marketing, business analysis and customer services.
Founded 10 years ago and backed by Enterprise Ireland, Channel Mechanics work mainly with global companies, who use its channel program automation platform to drive competitive advantage.
"We are delighted to be opening our new state of the art offices which is a culmination of many years of hard work and dedication by the team here at Channel Mechanics, the company's chief executive Kenneth Fox said.
"This new HQ will support our expansion plans for the years ahead and we look forward to welcoming customers and new team members to this wonderful new work space," he added.
Kevin Sherry, Executive Director of Enterprise Ireland, said the agency has worked closely with Channel Mechanics since 2011.
"Channel Mechanics presence in Galway makes an important contribution to prosperity at regional level as well as to the positioning of Ireland as innovators in the space of channel program management solutions globally," Mr Sherry said.
"Our aim is to help more Irish companies like Channel Mechanics to compete and win sustained business in global markets," he added.
