The National Treasury Management Agency has completed an auction of Irish Treasury Bills, raising the target amount of €750m.
The NTMA said that total bids received amounted to €1.3 billion which was 1.7 times the amount on offer.
The Treasury Bills, which have a maturity of three months, were sold at a yield of 0.85%, it added.
The National Treasury Management Agency has raised €7 billion on the bond market so far this year.
It had planned to raise €10 billion to €14 billion in 2022 but cancelled an auction in June after the state's borrowing needs fell due to the economy's strong fiscal performance.
