Hilary O'Meara has been announced as the new country managing director for Accenture in Ireland.
She will replace Alastair Blair who is to retire from the consultancy firm early next year.
Ms O’Meara has worked with the company for nearly three decades and has experience leading the strategy and consulting, resources and technology practices in the business.
For the past year she has been director of operations for UK and Ireland.

Alastair Blair has led the Irish operation of Accenture since 2014.
During that time, he also sat on the UK and Ireland leadership team, a role that Ms O’Meara will now also assume.
Accenture currently employs over 5,500 people in this country.
