Tata Consultancy Services, the global IT, digital and business solutions company, is to expand its presence in Co Donegal, adding 200 new jobs.

The new roles will be across a range of specialties and will be filled over the coming months.

The company, which is part of the Indian industrial conglomerate Tata Group, already employs over 1,000 staff in Letterkenny.

In 2015 it announced it was adding 80 more staff.

Five years later, it bought Pramerica Systems Ireland, a subsidiary of US based Prudential Financial Inc.

At the time Pramerica employed 1,500 people.
