Excel Recruitment has launched a recruitment drive to hire over 300 staff to work at events taking place this summer.
The events will be held at locations right across the country, including Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Punchestown Racecourse, St Anne's Park and Fairview Park.
According to Excel Recruitment, demand for staff is at an all-time high – with vacancy levels increasing by more than 25% on pre-pandemic levels.
"Summer 2022 promises to be a busy, fun-filled and exciting year for Ireland in terms of the sheer volume of events planned throughout the summer," said Shane McLave, Director, of Excel Recruitment.
"But the manpower needed for these events is significant – they cannot function without the temporary workers who keep the ship afloat. We need large volumes of bar staff, but also kitchen staff, cleaners, security etc," he added.
Mr McLave said those applying for the jobs must be over 18.
"The nature of the work means that the hours can be flexible, and short and long contracts are on offer - a setup which is often very attractive for Ireland’s student population, as you must be 18 or older to work these events.
"That said, it’s not just students who can secure some temp work for the summer – we are recruiting people with varying levels of experience," he added.
Excel Recruitment said that while Dublin will host the bulk of the events, they are looking to fill positions all over the country.
"We have events nationwide, particularly in the areas where our offices are located - Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Kildare," Mr McLave explained.
"Some of the big-name events we are currently working on include Taste of Dublin, the Galway Races, and Irish Independent Park series in Cork," he said.
