Dublin-based startup Intouch.com has agreed a major multi-year contract with a Mexican retailer called Kiosko.

Intouch specialises in AI-powered software solutions for physical retail stores.

The Dublin-based retail technology company said it is experiencing significant traction in the Mexican market.

Today's deal comes on the back of the Enterprise Ireland trade mission to the country last week.

The company's solution, which enables retailers to offer personalised product recommendations to shoppers inside physical retail stores, is now being used by a number of convenience store retailers throughout the country.

Intouch.com expects Mexico to be its biggest export market by the end of this year as it is currently closing a number of deals in the country and plans to open a Mexican office within the next 12 months.

Tim Arits, Intouch.com's CEO, said the Kiosko deal will help it to deliver its solution and expand into a new market, fulfilling its mission of making physical spaces more interactive and rewarding than online ones to all parties involved - retailers, brands and customers.

"Together with Kiosko, working as one team, we will unlock the full potential of digital transformations and place our clients on the best path for success in the new digital business landscape," he added.
