Fexillon, which provides digital asset management solutions for the infrastructure and real estate sectors, is planning to set up offices in London and Birmingham in the UK as it continues to expansion.
The company is aiming to double its UK headcount to over 20 employees by 2023.
Fexillon also said it is collaborating with Microsoft in the assessment of a range of solutions including holoLens technology and Building Information Modelling (BIM) integration.
It said it will use Microsoft's Azure cloud computing platform to support interactive digital replicas of Microsoft's built infrastructure, which will allow for the real time management of assets and lead to greater operational efficiencies.
The announcements were made today at this year's Digital Construction Week, a UK exhibition for innovation and technology in the built environment, where Fexillon is one of the main exhibitors.
Fexillon was founded 22 years ago by George Harold and Kieran Beggan.
From its base in Dublin, the company is aiming to become Europe's largest provider of digital asset management solutions.
It has completed numerous projects for UK owner-operators in the higher education, healthcare, rail infrastructure, pharma, and high-tech Cloud sectors.
Fexillon's co-CEO and co-founder, Kieran Beggan, said the company's solutions offer peace of mind for blue-chip firms in the public and private sector, providing a more streamlined approach to buildings and property management.
"These markets will accelerate at pace as the pandemic eases and remote management capability expands under Industry 4.0 and includes process automation, IOT and robotics," he said.
"Our expansion into the UK will ensure Fexillon is well positioned to support mission critical building owners with regional and global footprints and can provide a secure environment for managing building information from planning and design stage, construction and handover to operations and maintenance for the building owner and operator," he added.
