Eir has confirmed that it has now re-established connections for all customers affected by a mobile outage which started yesterday.
The company confirmed that the outage was caused by a power incident in an eir exchange.
As a result of the issue, some customers were unable to connect to the network for a period of time.
Eir said its engineering teams have now resolved the issue and re-established connections for all affected customers.
"If you are still experiencing issues, eir recommends to restart your device for full service connection," the telecoms firm said.
It also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the outage.
While eir said it was finalising the total number of customers affected, it confirmed that some customers were affected in all areas of the country.
We can confirm that our teams have now re-established connections for all affected customers. If you are still experiencing issues, we recommend restarting your device for full service connection. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thanks, the eir team.
