Dublin-based Sunglow Nurseries has agreed a new €7.5m deal with Aldi Ireland to supply all of Aldi's 150 Irish stores with their early season strawberries.
The new contract will see 300 tonnes of Sunglow's strawberries sold in Aldi stores annually over the next three years.
Sunglow Nurseries, a family run business, has been working with Aldi for 14 years.

Sunglow's Joe McGuinness said that working with Aldi has given the company the security to invest in its business.
"We're delighted with this new contract and are proud to bring our 100% Irish grown Bord Bia Assured strawberries to Aldi stores nationwide," he added.
John Curtin, Aldi Group Buying Director, said that Sunglow Nurseries has supplied its Irish stores for more than 14 years.
"Aldi is committed to supporting our Irish growers so that our customers can enjoy the very best Bord Bia Assured fresh local produce. We look forward to continuing to work together with Sunglow in the future," Mr Curtin added.
