The semi final and grand final shows of the Eurovision Song Contest will be live-streamed on TikTok this year, as the social media company teams up with the organisers to become official entertainment partner.

The 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is due to take place next month in the Italian city of Turin.

As a result of the partnership, TikTok users will be given access to daily highlights and behind the scenes content via the official @Eurovision TikTok account.

The company will also be creating special programming featuring the entrants.

Rich Waterworth, General Manager EU, TikTok said they're excited to bring the magic and music of Eurovision to their community this year.

"We'll be bringing fans exclusive content, taking them behind the scenes and placing them at the heart of the show itself.

"We can’t wait to see how our community will be inspired by Eurovision this year," he said.

Martin Österdahl, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest for the European Broadcasting Union, said they're working closely with TikTok to create more exclusive and engaging content.

"The TikTok community really embraced the Eurovision Song Contest last year and now we’re looking forward to giving them unprecedented access to the world’s largest live music event and inspiring a whole new generation of fans," he said.
