EY is to acquire the technology services and consulting firm, Client Solutions.
The professional services firm said it had signed a share purchase agreement but that the acquisition is subject to clearance by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
Founded in 1994, Client Solutions employs over 240 people.
The company serves a broad range of sectors, supporting clients to improve their operations and make them more efficient.
EY said the aim of the acquisition was to further elevate its client offering across digital, technology and innovation services, including Software Development, SAP Solutions, Service Management and Intelligent Automation.
"The potential acquisition of Client Solutions is hugely exciting for EY and is in line with our ambitious growth strategy," Frank O'Keeffe, Managing Partner, EY Ireland said.
"The Client Solutions team has a solid reputation in the market and their skills will complement EY teams’ existing credentials in the technology consulting space," he added.
"We look forward to the prospect of joining EY where we will continue to foster our culture of continuous improvement and innovation to deliver excellence in enterprise technology solutions," Teddy McCarthy, CEO of Client Solutions said.
