The National Treasury Management Agency has completed an auction of Treasury Bills, selling the target amount of €750m.
The NTMA said that total bids received for the Treasury Bills amounted to €1.50 billion which was two times the amount on offer.
The Treasury Bills, which have a maturity of five months, were sold at a yield of -0.565%.
The NTMA plans to issue €10-14 billion on the bond market this year.
This is down from the €18.5 billion raised in 2021 as the Government expects to spend far less battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
