Law firm Eugene F Collins is to merge with international company Addleshaw Goddard.
The move will see Eugene F Collins' 25 partners and 100 legal professionals join forces with the 297 partners and 1,000 other lawyers in the Addleshaw Goddard group.
The new firm will trade as Addleshaw Goddard LLP.
Eugene F Collins was founded 130 years ago and has grown to become one of the country’s best know legal services providers.
It provides advice to clients across a range of corporate sectors, including hospitality, retail, financial services, real estate, construction, life sciences and pharmaceuticals.
Addleshaw Goddard has five offices in the UK, France, Germany, Asia and the Middle East and had a turnover last year of £321m and has experienced 12% year on year revenue growth.
It also works with partner firms to provide services in other markets and it was through this mechanism that it became connected with Eugene F Collins.

Mr Walsh will continue to lead the combined firm in Ireland for a three-year period and will become Head of Ireland.
