Workplace service provider Sodexo Ireland is accepting applications from start-up enterprises with solutions to improve the workplace experience.

Together with innovation specialist L Marks, Sodexo is looking for new and innovative companies to collaborate through its innovation programme called Sodexo Accelerators.

It is seeking applications with ideas on how to improve the workplace experience across three categories; personalisation of services, sustainability or the evolution of smart buildings.

For start-ups with a solution that does not fit into any of those categories, Sodexo has also included the option of a 'wildcard' entry, which it says is to encourage applications for what it calls a 'left-field' innovation.

"The world has changed, and the scope of our services has become richer and more varied, as shown through our Vital Spaces proposition, which puts employee experience at the heart of what we do," Julie Ennis, CEO, corporate services, UK and Ireland and country president for Ireland said.

"We are hugely excited to begin working with start-ups to further support our clients' needs," she added.

The closing date for applications is March 3rd, 2022 and selected applicants will be invited to a pitch day in early April.

Successful start-ups will then be offered the chance to work with mentors from Sodexo's subject matter experts and business leaders over a ten-week period to fine-tune their solutions in a live customer environment.

Applications can be made on the company’s website.
