Petmania has opened a new pet store and grooming studio in Roscommon, creating 30 new jobs.
The expansion brings the total number employed at the company to over 200, across its 15 stores.
The Roscommon store is part of a three-year expansion program for the Irish retailer.
It launched an online store in 2020 and three new Petmania branches with grooming studios in the Northwest, in Sligo, Westport and Roscommon within the last year.
Westport native Liam Laffey has filled the position of Store Manager, with Ollie Quinn employed as Assistant Manager of the Roscommon Branch.
The company said further jobs are available at Petmania Roscommon for pet-care advisors, full-time professional dog groomers and wash and dry assistants.
"We are delighted to expand our Petmania family across the Northwest with the opening of our Roscommon store," said Emily Miller of Petmania.
"Our skilled team is excited to help all pet parents in Roscommon keep their animals safe and well with excellent advice, the best nutritional supplies and pet-care accessories," she added
