The death has been announced of Frank Casey, the former Managing Director of ICC Bank.
During his time with the bank, Mr Casey was also well known for his love of and support for classical music.
He served as chair, and later Honorary Life President of the Irish Chamber Orchestra, was a governor of the Royal Irish Academy of Music and a committee member of the GPA music in Great Irish Houses series.
During his time as chair, the Irish Chamber Orchestra played with soloists including Nigel Kennedy, Anne-Sophie Mutter and Yehudi Menuhin.
Mr Casey, who was 95, was also the author of a history of the ICC bank entitled 'Credit Where Credit is Due' , and had a long association with the St Vincent De Paul charity.
He was predeceased by his wife Alison, who died on Christmas Day 2020 and is survived by his daughters Philippa and Jane, his grandchildren and a wide circle of family and friends.
