Regatta Great Outdoors has opened two new stores in Dublin - in the Nutgrove Shopping Centre in Rathfarnham and a second at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.
The opening of the new shops will create 16 jobs and brings the total number of stores in Ireland to 27 with more store openings planned in the coming months.
The company currently employs 210 people nationwide and has shops across Dublin as well as in Limerick, Cork, Athlone, Galway, Kilkenny, Dundalk, Drogheda, Wexford, Waterford, Gorey, Sligo, Tullamore, Castlebar, Tuam, Roscrea and Navan.
It also has 14 concessions stores around the country.
Brian Fox, executive director of Regatta Great Outdoors Ireland, said the company experienced strong growth during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Consumers embraced outdoor pursuits such as hiking, camping and fitness and we were well placed with our product range to meet growing demand," he added.
