Healthcare provider Vhi said it plans to open a multi-disciplinary clinical facility in Carrickmines in Dublin, just off the M50, early next year.
The new 5,000 square metre Vhi 360 Health Centre will include five floors of clinical and healing space.
Vhi 360, first established in Limerick, provides Vhi customers with access to health and wellbeing services delivered by a highly trained multi-disciplinary healthcare team - all under the one roof.
The company said its Carrickmines centre will pioneer a new model of healthcare in Ireland.
The new centre will provide Vhi with increased capacity to meet the growing demand for existing services, including urgent care, paediatrics, orthopaedics, physio and out of hour dental services.
It will also provide an expanded range of diagnostic services with onsite access to two X-ray machines, MRI, Ultrasound and Dexa equipment.
The new centre will also deliver new innovative personalised healthcare programmes designed to meet patients' individual needs and preferences using a proven clinician led approach to healthcare.
This approach to healthcare will join traditional medicine with lifestyle and alternative therapies such as sleep management, physio, psychotherapy, nutrition, resilience, yoga, pilates and meditation.
Declan Moran, CEO of Vhi Group, said that Vhi 360 at Carrickmines is coming on stream at a critical point as all frontline healthcare services are under pressure and this will help to alleviate pressure on both public and private facilities.
"Moving more healthcare to a community setting means that more people can get access to the care they need, when they need it," Mr Moran said.
Vhi already owns and operates healthcare services including Vhi SwiftCare Clinics, Health Screening Centres, Paediatric Clinics and Vhi Hospital@Home services.
It carried out over 290,000 health and wellbeing interactions with its customers in 2020.
It also launched its first Vhi 360 Health Centre in Limerick in 2020 and it has plans to open further facilities over the next few years.
