Swiss-Irish food group Aryzta has completed the sale of its business in Brazil to Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV after operating there for almost 35 years.
The final sale of the business had not been expected to complete until next summer.
Chairman and interim CEO Urs Jordi said it concluded the group's disposals.
"The disposals plan enabled Aryzta to agree new lending facilities, pay deferred and current hybrid interest and improve the group's financial profile," Mr Jordi said.
"Our focus now is to deliver sequential quarterly positive organic growth supported by positive volume and pricing," he said.
"We are working with our customers on inflation price recovery and also focusing on further operational efficiencies to offset the inflation trends," he added.
Earlier this year, Aryzta sold its North American baking business as well as its sandwich business in Switzerland.
Aryzta owns the Cuisine de France label here and supplies companies including McDonalds and Subway with burger buns and rolls.
