The Dublin docklands building that is currently the EMEA headquarters of Airbnb has been placed on the market with a price tag of €41.5m.

8 Hanover Quay is currently owned by a fund managed by BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Managers.

The 3,747 sq m warehouse style property, a former Raleigh bike factory, is situated at the corner of Benson Street and Hanover Quay.

The next break option in the Airbnb lease will not happen until March 2026, with the lease due to expire in 2036..

Currently the rent is costing the company €1.7m.

Airbnb also has a further 3,715 sq m of space across two floors in the next door 'Reflector Building' which is now owned by DEKA.

Savills and BNP Paribas Real Estate are jointly handling the sale.

In 2016 the redevelopment of the warehouse was completed by Targeted Investment Opportunities, a joint venture involving NAMA, Oaktree and Bennett Construction.
