Sendoso, a platform to help firms send direct mail, personalised gifts and eGifts at large scale, is to open a new European headquarters in Dublin.
It comes as the business announced it has raised $100m in additional funding to help it accelerate its global expansion.
The Series C round was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
Other participants include Oak HC/FT, Struck Capital, Stage 2 Capital, Craft Ventures, Signia Venture Partners and Felicis Ventures.
It brings to $152m the total amount of capital raised by the company.
"This funding round is a major milestone for Sendoso and will help us expand our products, services and global footprint," said Kris Rudeegraap, CEO and co-founder of Sendoso.
The new Dublin office will provide a dedicated logistics and supply chain operation for the company.
It has not revealed how many jobs will initially be created by the expansion into Ireland.
Founded in 2016, Sendoso has around 500 employees in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The company says it plans to increase this figure by nearly a third before the end of 2021.
It offers up to 30,000 different gift options from its warehouses on three continents.
