Outsourced customer communications specialist Mail Metrics has agreed two new strategic acquisitions which it said will rapidly accelerate the growth of the business.
Mail Metrics said the two deals are expected to add €12m in annual recurring revenue.
The company also said the two deals will also expand its footprint in Ireland and position it to become a significant player in the UK market as employee numbers reach 100.
Mail Metrics has bought a majority share in its long-term commercial partner Persona, the Dublin based provider of secure printing and document management solutions to companies in the financial services and government sectors.
It has also bought Forth Communication, which has operations in Bangor in Northern Ireland and Edinburgh in Scotland.
Forth has delivered complex and demanding communication solutions for some of the largest financial services, utilities, health and government providers in the UK for the past 30 years, which will provide Mail Metrics with a solid platform for expansion in the UK market.
Financial details of the two deals were not disclosed.
"This acquisition of Persona and Forth further strengthens our position as the partner of choice for secure customer communication solutions in Ireland and the UK. Persona and Forth's secure facilities and the "physical" document management services perfectly compliment the Mail Metrics cloud platform," commented Mail Metric's group chief executive Nick Keegan.
"Together, we provide an unrivalled solution for all customer communication requirements, whether through digital or postal channels, across the UK and Ireland. As Mail Metrics continues to scale, we felt that it was time for us to control the end-to-end service offering with these acquisitions making perfect strategic sense," the CEO added.
