Notion, a new kind of digital collaboration and workplace tool, has chosen Dublin as its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) headquarters after the company saw strong growth during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The US company plans to grow its Dublin team to a headcount of 25.
Notion's collaboration tool is used by global brands such as Nike, McDonalds, Samsung, Lululemon and Tinder, and by millions of people across Europe - including some of Ireland's fastest growing brands such as Wayflyer, Storyful, Glofox, Flipdish, Hostelworld and CarTrawler.
Notion is a client company of IDA Ireland.
Ivan Zhao, co-founder and CEO of Notion, said that Dublin's thriving tech scene makes it the perfect HQ for Notion, with its talented workforce exactly what the company needs to help Notion cement its shift upmarket after winning massive consumer popularity.
"I can see our Dublin presence becoming a major international hub over the next few years and I'm excited to build out our team," the CEO said.
