DCC's proposed deal to buy Jones Oil has today been cleared by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
DCC's Energy division announced the deal for Jones Oil last month.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Jones Oil supplies home heating oil and commercial fuels to the agricultural, commercial, industrial and marine sectors from 15 depots in the east, midlands and northwest of the country.
