Bray-based Data Edge has won the Spirent EMEA Partner Award for outstanding sales achievement - the first Irish company to win the award.
Spirent is a global provider of automated testing for networks, security and positioning and has more than 140 partners across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions.
Data Edge said the award will help it capitalise on the significant growth opportunities that come with supporting Spirent solutions.
Data Edge has been providing timing infrastructure, lab and field test equipment to Ireland's telecommunications companies and equipment manufacturers for over 30 years.
It occupies a market leading position and has partnerships with some of the world's leading IT and performance management vendors including the likes of Spirent, Ciena Blue Planet, Microchip, Anritsu and CA Broadcom.
Paul Phelan, CEO of Data Edge, said the company has been working with Spirent for over 20 years.
