A-LIGN, a global cybersecurity and compliance company, plans to create 40 jobs in Ireland over the next five years, as it establishes its EMEA headquarters in Galway.
The project is supported by IDA Ireland.
In a statement, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar said he is pleased that A-LIGN has chosen to locate its new EMEA HQ in Galway.
"It’s a real vote of confidence in the city and all it has to offer.
"I wish the team every success with the expansion," the Tánaiste said.
Scott Price, chief executive at A-LIGN, said the expansion into Ireland will allow the company to better serve clients across the European Union.
Ty Brush, A-LIGN's Director of EMEA & APAC, said they are excited to open their Irish office.
"The market demand for security and compliance audits and certifications has continued to increase across the globe even amidst the Covid-19 pandemic," he said.
"Ireland presents a unique gateway to greater Europe for A-LIGN," he said.
CEO of IDA Ireland Martin Shanahan said A-LIGN is a welcome addition to the West’s tech cluster.
"This demonstrates the availability of a highly skilled and talented workforce across the region," he said.
