Permanent TSB has moved to strengthen its board with the appointment of two new independent non-executive directors.
The appointments of Celine Fitzgerald and Anne Bradley follows the identification by the bank of a need to "enhance the collective knowledge and experience of the board" it said in a statement.
The women have skills in technology change and resilience, as well as culture and sustainability respectively, which the lender said it particularly required at board level.
"Celine and Anne bring a wealth of cross industry knowledge and experience to the Board together with specific skills that will support the Bank as it drives positive culture change, evolves its sustainability programme and continues its digital transformation journey," said chairman, Robert Elliott.
"I really look forward to working with Anne and Celine at both Board and Board Committee level which itself has been re-organised to maximise the effectiveness of these appointments."
Anne Bradley was Head of Group IT delivery/digital development at Aer Lingus and British Airways owner, IAG, until last year.
Previously she was Director of IT at Aer Lingus Group. She is already an independent non-executive director at Northern Trust and served as a director of Dublin Bus from 2015 to 2018.
Celine Fitzgerald is an independent non-executive director at Ervia and has previous senior executive experience in the managed services and telecommunications industries.
She also served as a director at the VHI between 2009 and 2020 and was General Manager at charity Goal between 2016 and 2018.
