Eir chief executive Carolan Lennon landed in hot water last year over comments made about their operations in Sligo.

The Eir CEO told an Oireachtas committee that the company made a "mistake" locating their customer care centre in Sligo. 

She said that it took "longer" to train employees in the county because they were not familiar with working in a call centre.

Ms Lennon discusses the fallout from her comments and tells The Business how the company is working to improve its services.
