Aldi Ireland has been granted planning permission to build a new store in Ballina in Co Mayo, which will create 30 new full time jobs.
Expected to open in 2022, the new store will also create 50 jobs during the construction phase.
Aldi opened a new store in Belmullet last summer and it now operates four stores in the county.
Colin Breslin, Regional Managing Director at Aldi Ireland, said the supermarket chain was very excited to be coming to Ballina.
"This is fantastic news for shoppers and employment in the town. Every new Aldi store that opens brings greater choice, quality and value to shoppers," he added.
