Security service provider Smarttech247 has announced plans to hire 30 more staff in Cork to support the company's continued growth and expansion.
The new positions include Finance, International Sales, Business Analysis, SOC Engineering, Marketing and HR roles.
All of the new jobs will be based at its Cork office and Smarttech247 is facilitating remote working according to public health guidelines.
The cybersecurity industry is predicted to grow in value to $170 billion by 2023.
The company said the accelerated adoption of digital technologies and the increased reliance on cloud services is changing the threat landscape and to respond to these factors, it is investing in its human resources and infrastructure.
It said it is investing heavily in R&D in Ireland and is working on new products to launch this year.
Recruits from its new round of hiring will support this plan and help grow its customer base, the company added.
Smarttech247's founder and CEO Ronan Murphy said the company constantly maintains an expert level of knowledge of the complex and evolving threat landscape.
