Three Ireland has said it has allocated 10,000 free 'All You Can Eat' data SIM cards to 161 schools across the country, to support remote learning during the pandemic.

Both primary and secondary schools were eligible to apply for programme.

Three Ireland said applications opened on their website at 8am this morning and it confirmed that all SIM cards were allocated by 8.30am on a "first come first served basis".

The unlimited data will be available to the registered schools until the end of the school term in June.
