Three Ireland has said it will give schools across the country 10,000 free 'All You Can Eat' data SIM cards, to support remote learning during the pandemic.

Both primary and secondary schools can apply for the programme from Thursday 4 February, by completing an online registration form at Three.ie.

Three Ireland said the unlimited data will be available to schools until the end of the school term in June

As schools remain shut, Elaine Carey, Chief Commercial Officer at Three Ireland and Three UK said they want to help families with home learning.

"With the current restrictions, the ability for students to continue to learn from home is heavily dependent on access to internet connectivity, data and devices.

"This programme will run until the end of term in June and we hope it enables students across the country to get the internet access they need to continue their education from home," said Ms Carey.

Schools can apply for the programme until 5 March 2021.
