150 new jobs are to be created by the hearing healthcare provider, Hidden Hearing.
The company is investing €10m to expand its operations over the next five years.
The money is to be used on rebranding and marketing as well as a review of the firm's market positioning.
Last year, turnover at the business reached €30m, an increase of 2% on 2019.
Five new clinics were opened by the company in Rialto in Dublin, Castlebar in Mayo and Clonakilty, Mallow and Blackrock in Cork.
The business also developed new outreach services from existing medical practices, leading to the recruitment of additional staff.
A further 150 are now to be taken on over the next five years.
"Twenty new staff joined the team at various levels in 2020, and recruitment is ongoing for new qualified hearing aid dispensers, clinic coordinators, office staff and marketing personnel," said Stephen Leddy, Managing Director of Hidden Hearing.
"They will be involved in rebranding the operation and in major expansion of our clinic network in 2021 so that we can continue to make life changing differences to even more people."
The new staff will bring to more than 300 the numbers employed by the firm that was established in 1987.
As part of the rebranding exercise, the Hidden Hearing name is to be retained.
"Hidden hearing is a valuable brand identity with its longstanding association with local expertise and excellent customer care over thirty years," Mr Leddy said.
However, it is aligning closer to Audika, the global hearing healthcare retail brand also owned by the brand’s parent company, Demant Holdings, the company said.
