Australia's largest pharmacy retailer has opened its first European store in Westend Shopping Park in Blanchardstown in Dublin.
The opening of the new Chemist Warehouse store will create 30 jobs.
Chemist Warehouse offers discounted prices for pharmaceutical and health products. The company operates over 460 stores and employs over 8,000 staff across Australia, New Zealand and China.
The pharmacy chain is understood to have agreed deals on two other Dublin locations, which are due to open in 2021. It also has plans to roll out across the country after that.
Chemist Warehouse said that Ireland was always going to be a great fit for the company, with similar demographics to Australia.
The deal to bring the pharmacy chain to Ireland was brokered by Savills on behalf of Chemist Warehouse.
