Greencastle Capital has announced the completion of its acquisition of Lovin Media Group.

Greencastle Capital has signed a management services agreement with Iconic Labs, a multidivisional new media and technology business under which Iconic will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of Lovin Media.

It has also been confirmed that Lovin Media will remain a separate brand retaining its distinct identity.

Lovin Media is a digital and social media publisher, best known for its lifestyle and entertainment content specifically focusing on things to do in Ireland and in particular in the city of Dublin.

The acquisition of Lovin Media follows on from Greencastle Capital's acquisition of the JOE and Her brands in October creating Ireland’s largest digital media house.

Content development will be a key initial focus to complement the strong content already being developed by Lovin Media and to provide the resources, expertise and data insights to support the team.

John Quinlan, CEO of Iconic Labs, said, "We have watched the success of Lovin Media from afar and admired its unique position in the Irish market as a key voice in lifestyle and entertainment. We are confident that Lovin Media will benefit from our extensive resources, specifically by having access to both an in-house production team and our in-house data, insight and planning. Having recently taken over JOE and Her Media and now factoring in Lovin Media as well, we are creating something very special here in Ireland and are excited at the compelling proposition we will present to our readers, partners and clients."

Paul O'Donohoe, partner at Greencastle Capital said they look forward to investing time and resources into Lovin and working with its talented team to build a long term and sustainable growth path for the brand.
