US firm Chargify, which provides billing and subscription management solutions for business to business software as a service companies, has announced the opening of its new EMEA headquarters in Dublin.
Chargify said it plans to hire 30 new employees by the end of 2022.
It said it has immediate plans to hire 10 employees by the end of 2020 in a variety of engineering, product, business development and customer success roles.
The company said it was opening its new office in Dublin as part of its international expansion strategy developed to better serve its expanding customer base and respond to new opportunities and strategic partnerships in the region.
Chargify plans to use the Dublin location to have a greater footprint across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Already a strong player in the EMEA region with up to 30% of customers based there, the new Dublin base will allow Chargify to provide more localised service to its growing customer base.
The company also said it is further proof of a new wave of US scale-ups choosing Dublin as their EMEA base as they look to further their growth into the region.
Chargify CEO Paul Lynch said that as a Dubliner he is proud to see the company's expansion across EMEA take shape from Ireland.
"It is the best place to hire and expand from if you want to service the world's leading companies and we look forward to hiring from the expansive talent pool available to us in Ireland," Mr Lynch said.
